Austria finishes in 3rd place in Pool H with a 1-2 record and South Africa finishes in 4th at 0-3. Also in Pool H, Brazil's Gustavo "Guto" Carvalhaes/Pedro Solberg and Theo Brunner/Casey Patterson of the United States are both 2-0.
Austria will have to wait to see if it advances directly into the knockout phase or plays in a "lucky" loser later today to advance. South Africa has been eliminated and finishes 37th.
