It was not that we got stressed. It was not my best game as I was struggling a little bit and didn’t get in my normal rhythm. But Tom was pushing me good and he played a very decent game so that was enough for today. I have to be better from my side to beat Russia. Russia is a very tough team, but when we play our best level we can beat them.”
Tom van Walle, Belgium – “That was the main goal, to go 2-0. We knew that these were the two matches that we had to take in order to be comfortable against Russia. If you have to play with pressure against Russia it is going to be a hard game. Now we can play free and relax a little bit when we play. On paper we are better but we still have to prove it. Now against Russia we can play our own game and relaxed and I think it will be good for our own game.”
