Talita Antunes, Brazil - "It was very hot and we needed to be strong mentally to play in these conditions because our minds get exhausted really fast. I think the Swiss struggled a little more with that since they made some mistakes they are not used to. Now we prepare to do our best against Brazil, which is always difficult, since we know each other really well".
Larissa Franca, Brazil - "It was important that we started the game strong. We lost to them the last time we met in The Hague. This is a tournament where it's vital to be mentally strong at all times because this is the only way you can play at your best. We need to keep doing what we've been doing. We are making the right decisions and that's the way to go".
Joana Heidrich, Switzerland - "I'm really disappointed now. We started the match really well, but in the end we made some stupid mistakes and the first set just slipped from our hands. It was tough. In the second set we had a chance to take the lead, but our side out was not good".
