In the second set (facing four match points) we didn’t want to give it up so we were fighting every single ball. For sure we were lucky, they had two really close balls where they could end the game but it didn’t happen and we took a chance and we made it into the third. It’s something that makes us even stronger but we were lucky we didn’t lose.”
Michala Kvapilova, Czech Republic – “Our defense worked out pretty well in the third set and our serve got a little better. We beat a really good team so that’s a really good start for us in the World Championships so now we have this one win already behind us and we can go through every match and play every point and just enjoy it.”
