The Czech Republic has won both FIVB World Tour head-to-head meetings between the two teams, also winning 2-0 at the FIVB Porec Major Series in June.
The Czech Republic won Pool F with a 3-0 record and Finland finished in 2nd place at 2-1. Also in Pool F, Costa Rica's Natalia Alfaro/Karen Charles and Erika Bobadilla/Gabriela Filippo of Paraguay are both 0-2.
Both Czech Republic and Finland have advanced to the knockout phase and will play Wednesday, 2 August.
