Maggie Kozuch, Germany – “I think everybody’s pretty excited (about Pool D match Monday vs. Laura/Kira) and I’m also happy we have a day off tomorrow so we can cool off a little but, relax, then just focus on the game on Monday. I think it will be a game with a lot of emotions and a lot of energy because it’s on center court. What’s happening there is incredible and there will be a lot of goosebumps. I just want to enjoy every little moment.”
Karla Borger, Germany – “It’s a special moment to play on Center Court against the Olympic champs. If we put all in and try to enjoy as much as possible. It’s going to be tough, it’s going to be hot, it’s going to be crowded and it’s a game to enjoy. Every game for (Kozuch) is a new challenge, a new perspective and this will be a new one. I played Laura many many times in the past and we always did well. I’m excited to play because we also played them on the German tour when they were a little bit injured and we won the last match so it’s going to be harder to do the same but we will enjoy.”
