Italy wins Pool K with a 3-0 record and Russia finishes 3rd at 1-2. Also in Pool K, Australia's Christopher McHugh/Damien Schumann is 1-1 and Abubakarr Kamara/Lombie Patrick of Sierra Leone is 0-2.
Italy has advanced to the knockout phase and will play Thursday, 3 August. Russia will have to wait to see if it advances directly into the knockout phase or plays in a "lucky" loser later today to advance.
