Joana Heidrich, Switzerland – “In Fort Lauderdale we had trained only two months together so it was not a lot. But we were committed to our team. It was also hard to act on the court for each other in stressful moments. That’s changed a lot. We also changed sides (Anouk is now on the left). So everything makes it easier to pass.”
Anouk Verge-Depre, Switzerland – “We have more confidence because we know where to set and our coach said we shouldn’t always think about how to do it best but to focus on playing and fun and that made a big difference to have a different activation on the court. We know we can be a hard opponent for every team on this tour and that gives us a lot of confidence. We’re not like beating them every time but we know we can have tough matches against them.”
