Mariusz Prudel, Poland – “This format gives us time to process. In the second set it was good that we won because we played better and better. It was good for a start to the tournament. We are a new team so we are trying to find our way at the end of the season. It’s always something new when you play as a new team, but we are happy that we made it to this event. We are looking forward to it.”
Kacper Kujawiak, Poland – “This is the most important tournament of the season, and I am playing with a more experienced guy than me. I have opportunity to play here which is really good. We won this match but it wasn’t easy. It was tough in the second set. We must focus on our job.”
Luis Betancourt, Guatemala – “Being at such a high level, we have never been at this level. The first set was hard for us because we were in situations from us not playing together very much. We are ready for the next match, we think we will do a lot better. We have played together for a year, looking to play more on the FIVB Tour.”
