Michal Bryl, Poland – “I don’t know what happened against Uruguay. I was really stressed. The guys were playing really good and they scared us. We were lucky to win that first set. Every match is important, we are always going for the win. The next match is against The Netherlands – the World Champs. For me it will be a new experience, the first time for this game, so we want to fight and win it.”
Grzegorz Fijalek, Poland – “They played very well and in the first set we made a lot of mistakes in the sideout. But we found the rhythm in the second set and played much better in the service and defense so it was in our control. It is never easy to play against a team you don’t know anything about. We were very happy to win our second match, but now we must focus on our match on Tuesday.”
Mauricio Vieyto, Uruguay – “The matches are really hard but we have to maintain the sideout and defense. If we adjust that we will be better off. The heat in the second set was too much.”
Marco Cairus, Uruguay – “The first set was really, really close. We were really tired in the second set though. Between the heat and being tired, the second set was tough.”
