The United States finishes 2nd in Pool C with a 2-1 record and Guatemala finishes in 4th place at 0-3. Also in Pool C, Phil Dalhausser/Nick Lucena of United States won the pool with a 3-0 record and Poland's Kacper Kujawiak/Mariusz Prudel finished 3rd at 1-2.
Doherty/Hyden has advanced to the knockout phase and will play Thursday, 3 August. Guatemala has been eliminated and finishes 37th.
