After winning three FIVB World Tour gold medals with Pedro Solberg during the 2015 and 2016 seasons, Evandro split with his Rio 2016 Olympic partner and started this season with Andre Loyola as the pair finished second in their first event together this past February at the Fort Lauderdale Major in the United States. Qualifying for the 2017 FIVB World Champions due to their world ranking, Evandro will be playing in his third world finals while it will be Andre’s first. After placing fifth at the 2013 FIVB World Championships with Vitor Felipe, Evandro and Pedro netted the bronze medal at the 2015 world finals in The Hague. Evandro made his FIVB World Tour in 2011 and Andre in 2014. Andre and Oscar Brandao teamed to capture a 2016 FIVB “open” event in Fortaleza, Brazil.
