Qualifying for the 2017 FIVB World Championships via their international ranking, Kantor and Losiak will be competing in their first “senior” worlds after collecting three youth world titles in 2010 (under-19), 2012 (under-21) and 2013 (under-23). The Poles also won four European youth continental Beach Volleyball gold medals. Despite each being 25, Kantor and Losiak rank as the second-most experienced team in the world championships in terms of FIVB World Tour participations. Kantor and Losiak competed in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and placed 17th with their last two setbacks to medal winning teams on Copacabana - Alexander Brouwer/Robert Meeuwsen of The Netherlands (bronze) and Daniele Lupo/Paolo Nicolai of Italy (silver).
