After qualifying for the 2017 FIVB World Championships via the NORCECA continental qualifying rounds, Phillip and Williams will be the first men’s or women’s team from Trinidad & Tobago to compete in the event. While the pair has not competed on the FIVB World Tour, Phillip and Williams have posted two sevenths and two 11ths on the NORCECA circuit the past two seasons.
