Cuba finished in 3rd place in Pool B with a 1-2 record and Colombia finished in 4th place at 0-3. Germany's Chantal Laboureur/Julia Sude won the pool with a 3-0 record while Elsa Baquerizo/Amaranta Navarro of Spain finished in 2nd place at 2-1.
Cuba will have to wait to see if it advances directly into the knockout phase or plays in a "lucky" loser match later today to advance. Colombia has been eliminated and finished 37th.
