Nikita Liamin, Russia – “It was a very important game for us because it means first place in our group. Today was very difficult because it was very windy. Sometimes it helped, sometimes it didn’t. It’s very good for us but now all teams are very strong and will have to concentrate.”
Tom Van Walle, Belgium – “It made it extra difficult. Without wind they are a really good team and we had some problems with the wind. We didn’t put pressure on them as much we’d like and they just kept siding out pretty clean. We first tried (to serve) Nikita, and then after we tried Krasilnikov and they stayed really clean on their sideouts and we didn’t. (Advancing to round of 32) Yeah, that’s really nice, that was our main goal from the beginning but still we would have liked to have put pressure on the Russians because we played them in Gstaad and we won the game.”
