Menegatti placed second at the 2007 under-19 world championships with Gilda Lombardo. Perry will be competing in her first world championships as 2017 is only her second- season on the FIVB World Tour and first with Menegatti, who played internationally for the first-time in 2006. Menegatti started playing regularly on the World Tour in 2010 and she has collected more FIVB medals (13) than any other Italian woman in the 25-year history of the international circuit. Here lone World Tour gold medal was in 2015 with Orsi Toth at Sochi, Russia.
